Adopt an Olive Tree in Sardinia

Our olive trees have grown here for generations. With an adoption, we dedicate one of them personally and share a little of this place with you or someone you love.

THE NEW HARVEST

Then comes the olive oil.

We begin harvesting in early October. The adoption box includes two bottles from the first of our upcoming 2026 harvest, packed and sent from our family to yours before the holidays.
Bespoke Adoption
Each adoption is prepared personally by the two of us, Enrico & Kate. We place every plaque, take the photos and videos, create each adoption page, and answer every email ourselves. Because we want each adoption to feel thoughtful and special, things can sometimes take a little longer, especially during busy periods. Thank you for your patience while we give each one the care it deserves.

five unique groves

Choose the Grove that Feels Home to You

Each of our family groves has its own history, landscape, and character. Explore them below and choose the one that speaks to you, or leave it in our hands and we’ll choose a tree for you.

SA MANDARA

The Homestead

The heart of our family farm. Sa Mandara is our most lived-in grove, surrounded by citrus, pears, almonds, vegetables, and the animals of our in-progress self-sustainable homestead. Some of the olive trees here are more than a century old.
SEDDUS

Centenarian Grove

One of our oldest family groves, tucked near the Leni River. Seddus has been in the family since 1934, when it was acquired by Enrico’s great-grandfather Giuseppe Muscas, who lived to the remarkable age of 101. Today, some of the grove’s roughly 40 olive trees are more than 300 years old, making Seddus a fitting home for a story of longevity.
RUINAS

Nuragic Ruins

High in the mountains above Villacidro, Ruinas is steep, rugged, and a little wild. Its name means “ruins” in Sardinian, and the surrounding landscape holds traces of the island’s ancient Nuragic past.
SODDEPAI

Beehive Grove

A peaceful grove on the northern edge of Villacidro, where our olive trees share the landscape with a nearby eucalyptus forest and the hives of our beekeeper partner. It’s a place shaped by olives, bees, and the scents of eucalyptus.
NU MANDARA

New Beginnings

Our youngest grove and a glimpse into the future of the farm. Here, hundreds of new Semidana and Bosana olive trees are growing slowly into the landscape, planted with wide spacing and sustainable farming in mind.

WHY ADOPTION MATTERS

Helping our groves grow for generations to come.

Every adoption directly supports the work we are doing here in Sardinia. It helps us care for the groves we already have, bring neglected land back into cultivation, plant new olive trees, and continue farming in a way that protects the soil and the landscape around us.

01

Restore abandoned groves

Across Sardinia, many old olive groves have been left untended. Adoption support helps us clear, prune and bring neglected trees and land back into productive life instead of allowing them to disappear.
02

Plant the next generation

We are planting new olive trees alongside the old ones so these groves continue long beyond us. Young trees take years of care before producing their first real harvest, making this a long-term investment in the future of the farm.
03

Farm regeneratively

We focus on building healthier soil and a more resilient farm ecosystem through wide tree spacing, cover crops, natural fertility, biodiversity and organic-approved farming practices.
04

Keep family farming alive

Tree adoption allows us to keep working these groves ourselves, care for them slowly and personally, and build a farm our children can inherit rather than choosing growth that separates us from the land.

An adoption helps us leave the land better than we found it.

Our goal is not to grow as quickly as possible. It is to grow carefully, restore what has been forgotten, and create healthy groves that our children and future generations can continue to tend.
